Apple Cider Doughnut Belgian Waffles......yes I just said that!

I was in the mood for breakfast for supper. I hope I am not the only person who does this. I have a friend who calls this "brinner".

I had seen an apple cider pancake recipe on Pinterest. However, I am more of a waffle girl....so I took the inspired recipe and made it easier...and made it into waffles!! I would have to say that these waffles were quite yummy!

Apple Cider Doughnut Belgian Waffles

1 1/2 C. Gluten Free Pantry Pancake and Waffle Mix (or your favorite mix)
1 C. Apple Cider
1 Egg
3T Butter
1/2 tsp. Pie Spice

Instructions:
Mix the ingredients together. Be sure there are no lumps. Using a belgian waffle maker, pour about 1/2 cup of batter onto the griddle. (be sure to read the instructions for your specific machine) Cook until the waffles are a crispy brown color (or until the light turns off if your model has this great feature). Top with your favorite toppings such as applesauce, butter, or syrup. Serve warm. This makes 5-6 waffles
Mix the yummy ingredients
Place 1/2 cup of batter into the waffle iron
Cook until crispy and brown
Serve with your favorite toppings.....enjoy!

I hope you enjoy this yummy recipe as much as I did.......it of course can also be made for breakfast !!
