Oven Baked Frito Chili Pie

The weather folks are predicting possible snow for tonight. It isn't supposed to be anything major. However, that means it is gross outside. Which in turn means I am staying inside!! I decided that this recipe would be warm. So for supper tonight it was Oven Baked Frito Chili Pie. I found the recipe on Pinterest (my new favorite thing).  You can see the original recipe here: Oven Baked Frito Pie . I changed it up a touch and here is what I came up with:

Oven Baked Frito Chili Pie

1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey
1 can (16 oz) Kidney beans
1 can (16 oz) red beans or pinto beans
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 envelope chili seasoning
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 1/2 cups corn chips
1  cup sour cream

Directions:Cook meat until it is browned. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, and chili seasoning mix. Spray baking dish with cooking spray. Sprinkle 1 cup corn chips in bottom of 8x8 baking dish or 9x13 dish. Cover with chili. Spread sour cream over chili. Top with remaining corn chips and cheese. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

Spread corn chips in the bottom of the baking dish
Cover the corn chips with the chili
Up next is the sour cream.
The final layer is the shredded cheese and remainder of the corn chips. Then into the oven for about 25 min.
